There are many dogs, whether on the streets or in shelters that need a comforting home. One reason dogs are open for adoption is the incapability of the former owners to take care of the dog. Some are rescued dogs from the streets or from the hands of a violent owner.
If many dogs need rescue, there are also a lot of shelters and organizations that are ready to help. They extend their help to dogs that need support such as treating wounds and diseases and providing food and shelter. Rescue shelters take care of the dogs until they find their new home.
Carpe Diem’s viral photos
At San Francisco Animal Care & Control Center, there is a dog named Carpe Diem whose photos hit the internet. Carpe Diem is a 4-month-old puppy who’s up for adoption at the center. The center decided to take pictures of Carpe to hope that he might find his new home.
Surprisingly, when it’s time to snap, Carpe posed on the camera that made the result look hilarious. The center posted Carpe’s photos on Twitter, where it went viral. Each picture of him has captions that made the images funnier. Fortunately, Carpe Diem gets adopted after he went viral.
Adopting a pet
If you’re in your heart and home are available, try to adopt a pet. Adopting a pet can have a lot of benefits from saving a life to having a happy life. Don’t worry because animal shelters and rescue groups are brimming with healthy and happy pets just waiting for you to take them home.
As soon as your home gets a new pet, your home will thank you for having one. All pets are indeed good for your health, but adoptees offer an extra boost!
